WILL THE PRACTICE CLUB MAKE YOU A STAR?

Violin Lessons, Viola Lessons, Cello lessons? Individual or class, all need your input - also known as practicing!
Are those scales getting any faster? Does playing in key or mode make sense? What about harmony? Do you know how it makes things easier?
Have you watched other string players on YouTube and wondered why they find it so easy?Isn't it time you found out? The PRACTICE CLUB will help you to fulfill your musical potential!
Using tonal and rhythm patterns the Practice Club will build your musical vocabulary. We will even show you how to discover your own creativity. You will probably even want to compose. Best of all you will be working along side other musicians.

I just wanted to send a note saying that The Practice Club was a wonderful experience for me, and I am looking forward to next Club.  Though I have years of playing and practicing under my belt, I loved this innovative approach to practicing techniques both old and new with other musicians.  I found your process of  breaking down a new piece into comfortable, understandable chunks especially enlightening. Bravo!!  Sign me up for the next one!

The practice club was great! You've convinced me that I need to put in
the effort to develop the [solfege] skills.
I do look at the music differently now and can start to pick it apart and understand the underlying structures and have an idea of how it should sound.

A MESSAGE FROM HELEN MARTIN
Sometimes the hardest thing about practicing is getting started. But if you know that there can always be a positive result, practicing is sure to become a pleasure. So, this is what the PRACTICE CLUB offers. We will help you to know what you want to accomplish and how to move towards your goals. Technique can grow out of solving musical problems. Practicing does not have to be mechanical repetitions. In fact playing expressively means exploring inflection - finding new ways to present a phrase.

My early studies were with well-known Twentieth Century teachers including -Jascha Brodsky and Josef Gingold.
I produced a DVD, VIOLIN FOR MUSICIANS that sold more that 500 copies. Andrew Victor, reviewing the tape for Maestronet, wrote: If you understand what is on the tape (DVD) you will understand some things about the violin and playing it that some people who play it...do not learn in a lifetime.
